It's Yondynn's.....naughty!!!

Yup that's what I've heard many times today, "It's Yondynn's...naughty" (Londynn with a "y" not an "L", that's how she says her name). She will be in her room playing and obviously one of her toys is not doing something she wants it to do or something is stuck and she gets soooo frustrated.  I guess I've told her she was being naughty one to many times.

50 things about me!

So I'm getting a little pressure from a certain someone (you know who you are) to put together a 50 things about me list. I must admit that I enjoy reading others lists and hearing interesting things about them; however, I am far from interesting and I'm not sure I can even think of 50 random things about me, but here it goes anyway. 50 things you would probably care less to know about me!

1. I have never lived outside of Utah and I'm not sure I ever care to.
2. My favorite class in High School was my pottery class.
3. I don't like milk and never have. I used to pour water on my cereal when I was younger ( I know gross huh?)
4. When I turned 18 I decided that I wanted a tattoo, so I went and got one.
5. I'm not a movie fan. The only movies that I like to watch are comedies and chick flicks (and a scary movie here and there).
6. I have only been pulled over once (knock on wood) and the stupid cop gave me a ticket anyway (I'm not bitter).
7. If given the choice between a piece of chocolate cake and candy...I would choose the candy.
8. I went skiing for the first time two years ago (kuddos to my lovely sister-in-law who picked me up off the slopes a million times, because I was to weak to do so myself... how embarrassing).
9. I hate all seafood (even though I haven't tried most of it, the smell is enough to turn me off).
10. I'm not a fan of church meetings, but then again who is?
11. I love clean and organized places, but you would never know by looking at my house.
12. I love working out and the way it makes you feel afterwards.
13.  My favorite foods are pizza and mexican food.
14. I'm not a pop fan. The only pop I will drink is Sprite and Root Beer, but for the most part I stick to water.
15.  I love country music. I listen to other stuff but I always return to country.
16. I am a very emotional person and that's the number one thing I would change if I could.
17. I'm terrified of getting up and speaking or saying prayers in front of people. I really need to work on this one, but I really have no desire to do so.
18. I love playing games, not those that require brains just the no thinker ones.
19. I'm a sucker for reality TV.
20. I can't hold a tune to save my life. I'm one of those that will only sing in the car when no one else is around (my kids don't count).
21. I played a little basketball in High School (I never claimed to be good but I did play).
22. I've always had red hair and hated it until I hit about High School age.
23. I've never been to Hawaii but hopefully will make it there this year!!!!
24. I have "cankles" and HATE them (that one is for you Jared).
25. I hate hiking.
26. My favorite candy at the moment are tootsie rolls.
27. My husband is a computer nerd and I am the opposite, I know nothing about them.
28. If I want a pair of pants that I can wear heels with I have to buy a 37" inseam.
29. I love to sleep and will nap everyday if I have the chance.
30. I enjoy hanging out with my family.
31. I hate people that dress up to go to the gym. You're supposed to look terrible people!
32. I hate trying to figure out what to have for dinner every night, but don't mind cooking if I know what to make.
33.  I love the french fries and fry sauce from Red Robin.
34. I hate people who drive under the speed limit.
35. I'm addicted to the salad at Cafe Rio and have to have my fix at least once a week.
36. I have an ugly bone that sticks out on each of my feet, what do they call that a bunion? Who cares it's ugly.
37. I recently hit a tree. It sounds a lot worse than it was but it was due to ice.
38. I've never learned how to swim.
39. As my little girl would say, I have "speckles" aka freckles.
40. There is just something funny about watching someone fall. I know it's totally rude but it still makes me laugh.
41. I always pictured myself and wanted to be a stay at home mom when I was younger, now that I am one it is a lot harder than I ever imagined.
42. My husband says I can't live without my newly found homemade popcorn. Does once a night mean I am addicted?
43. When I was a baby I had elephant ears (my family thinks it's hilarious) and they stuck out so other family members used to tease my mom and tell her to tape my ears down. At least I grew into my ears. Lol
44. If I won a million dollars I'm not sure what I would buy first.
45. I hate the feeling of being in debt, so the only debt we currently have is our mortgage and student loans.
46. I love to be tickled.
47.  I love taking my morning shower and will usually stay in the shower until I run out of hot water.
48. I was bit by a dog when I was little and have the teeth marks on my thigh to prove it. That dog was later put to sleep.
49.  When I was a sophomore in High School I got mono.
50. I'm so proud that I came up 49 things about me that I'm skipping number 50.

And there you have it. 50 things about me!

Cereal anyone?

Now that Boston is four months I decided to try and give him cereal for the first time. The poor guy was so tired that he really could have cared less that we were trying to feed him something new. The first couple of bites went in then came right back out, but after that he sure got the hang of it.

Too tired to care.
The picture says it all "I'm not amused".

Sick of being sick

I swear I never got sick before I had kids. Now that I have them I seem to catch everything they get. This week it has been a cold. Londynn started getting one on Saturday and by Monday Boston had it and I could feel it coming on. I just can't seem to kick it and it's getting really old! It's amazing how a simple cold can take so much out of you. I have missed the gym twice, my house has been neglected and I think I made dinner once this week (wait, maybe that was Jared that made dinner). The only good that has come out of these colds is that Boston has been sleeping more during the day. He is just so dang cute. He is soooo not a snuggler, but when he gets tired he sure loves to snuggle his blanket and he prefers to sleep with his blanket over his face.

Singing

There is just something about listening to toddlers sing (okay maybe I'm prejudice to my own toddler). It's just so cute, and for those of you who didn't know...shaking your head makes you sing better. lol This one is for you aunt Kelsey.

4 months old

My little boy is 4 months old today. It seems like just yesterday that he was born. Why is it that while pregnant it is the longest 9 months ever and then once they are here the time flies? He sure has brought joy to our family. It's hard to picture our life without him even though he's only been here 4 months.  He made our transition into having another baby quite easy. He was sleeping through the night at just over one month and is a fabulous napper. It sure makes a world of difference when you're not sleep deprived.  We sure love our little Boston.

Our little guy a couple weeks old. He sure has changed a lot.

 Our grinnin' monkey.

Here is a short video of Boston talking.
