Mother of the year!!
Yup pretty sure I won't be winning that award anytime soon. We went boating today and I was sure to put sunscreen on Londynn and myself; however, because Boston was going to be in the shade the whole time I didn't think he needed sunscreen. Well as my dad would say, that's what I get for thinking. My baby's face is fried and I feel terrible.

Miracles do happen
You know it is going to be a crappy day when your daughter wakes up at 5:50am and thinks that it is time to get up for the day, you realize then that you have a headache, follwed by Boston waking up 45 minutes later. After Jared leaves for work both kids have major meltdowns and wants mom to hold them. This all happens before 8:00. This would be my day thus far. By 9:00 I decide that it is time for Boston's nap. I lay him in bed and decide that I need a rest myself to see If I can kick my headache. Five minutes after I lay down Lodnynn comes crying to me because she wants me to hold her. I ask her if she wants to lay next to me in bed, shockingly she agrees. This is where the miracle happened......she fell asleep. Yup I'm pretty sure that has never happened. Too bad that's where the happiness ends. Our neighbors STUPID dog (to keep my blog PG this dog will be known as the "stupid" dog, but believe me this is not my choice word for this animal) has decided that he needs another good barking session. I guess it's time for me to stop being the "nice" neighbor and send them a little note before calling animal control!!

Million Dollars!
Londynn is at the "I want, I want, I want stage" (do they ever really grow out of of it?). When she is whining for something Jared and I have started replying with "well I want a million dollars". She doesn't like it to much but her reply makes us laugh every time. This is a daily conversation.
Londynn: I want some milk.
me: Well I want a million dollars.
Londynn: (in a frustrated voice and without skipping a beat) I don't have a million dollars I want some milk.
I just love how she says it.

Good times!
My dads idea of a good fathers day present was for everyone to buy themselves a rack of ribs and bring it to his house so he could make us dinner. Of course none of us complained because my dad is a fabulous cook. For Father's Day he went out and bought himself a smoker and had all of us over for dinner on Saturday night. We were not disappointed! The smoked ribs and the homemade rosemary bread (and everything else) was delicious. The weather could not have been more perfect.

Lagoon
Earlier in the week we went to Lagoon with some friends. I grew up going to lagoon twice a year for many years. In all the years going to lagoon I never remember it being cold to the point that we had to wear pants and a jacket (though my mom says there were times). I remember going to lagoon when it was scorching hot and miserable. Tuesday it started out as a beautiful day; however, come early afternoon the weather quickly changed. The wind came in the temperature dropped and we were even rained on a little bit; however, we didn't let a little rain make us go home early. This was Londynns first time to lagoon and really fist time on any ride. The guys were nice enough to let us girls go out first so I wasn't there to see Londynn on her first ride and screaming bloody murder. The guys took the kids on the bumper cars for their first ride and it do go over very well with Londynn (I'm not surprised). Overall it was a really fun day. I even managed to lose my cell phone on the ride whicked. Awesome ride!
The baby boys were great sports hanging out in the wagons most of the day.
Londynn was to scared to go on any kiddie ride by herself but as long as I could go with her she was wiling to go on any ride. Here we are on the tidle wave (that's me in the pink sweatshirt and londynn is next to me scared to death, but didn't cry).
Londynn before the ride started.
Here are the kids on the train, enjoying themselves as you can see.
My two boys.
Londynns look is priceless!

For you pet owners!!!
I'm about ready to pull my hair out. There are a few things that get my blood boiling and one of those things is a dog that will not stop barking and to make it worse, a dog that will not stop barking when you are trying to take a nap. Can you tell I'm not a pet lover? We have neighbors that live behind us, whom we do not know, that have a dog. This probably wouldn't be much of a problem except our neighbors are like 5 feet from our back patio, thus making it feel like it was in our own backyard. GGGRRRRRR!! Shut up!!!! Any suggestions on how to shut up a barking dog? I used to be able to yell at the dog and it would be quiet for awhile. Today it just barks louder and harder when I yell at it. There has got to be some city ordinance about these annoying dogs. Anyone?

Nine months
I can hardly believe my little boy is already nine months old. Where did the time go? He's such a laid back little guy that adores his older sister. Londynn is even finding him more amusing now that he's able to interact with her a little more. A few of my favorite things you are doing at nine months are:
- You are still imobile.
- When you get mad you make your hands into fists and tense your whole body and growl (so cute considering you are so mad).
- When you get shy or excited you duck your head.
- You're not a snuggler but you like to be cheek to cheek with whomever is holding you when you are tired.
- You love your soft blankets and will not go to sleep without them.
- You'll eat just about anything that is fed to you except peas.

Slacking!
I've been slacking with my posts lately, but that's only because nothing really exciting has been going on. Here are a few pictures of the kiddos taken within the last week.
Taking the kids for a ride in the wagon while the weather was nice.
On Saturday we had a picnic in our backyard for lunch. Londynn thought it was pretty cool and has been asking to have another picnic ever since.
My bright eyed little boy. One of my favorite looks he gives.
